Found another 4 leaf clover last night. Had a nice dinner with Kim and Dave Wolf.

Early start this am. Out of West Virginia and thru Virginia in pouring rain. Beautiful scenery but we are so glad to be in North Carolina. It was a harrowing drive. Lots of climbs and steep grades down. Steve has been great but I know he is tense. Don't think we will be back. Too much climbing. Finally sunny! Beautiful flowers along the interstate. Got to Sycamore Lodge at 2. All settled in. Blakes for dinner. Hot and dry in North Carolina.

Traveled today to Cartooge Creek campground in Franklin NC. Long day- i didnt plan that one so good. Thru the Black Mountains and into The Great Smokies. Beautiful scenery. I drove for a little. High
