9-5-1774 First Continental Congress adopted a complete boycott of British goods as well as authorized thecolonies to prepare for war.

12-16-1773 Sons of Liberty dressed as indians, boarded a tea ship in Boston Harbor. They broke open chests and dumped the tea into the harbor. Parliaments patience ran out.

Winter 1774-1775 America prepares for war. Colonies sent tons of military supplies to towns around Boston. By spring 1775 there were enough supplies for 5000 men.
