Lakes/Waterfalls

Monday was a rainy day so we just hung at the campground.

Today (Tuesday) we took a scenic drive thru Syracuse and other small towns to Green Lake State Park. Aqua waters-unbelieveable! It is a glacial lake, color caused by high levels of calcium carbonate as well as "whiting's" which leave minerals suspended in the water. The lake is also meromictic which means the lower and upper waters never mix.

On to Chittenango Falls-too cool. Interesting cloud patterns all day
