Visited the Rankin Museum today. Super interesting for a little place. Director was very knowledgeable about civil war and local history. Had a great time talking with him. Lots of native American displays as well as animals from long ago and around the world. Amazed that Andre the Giant had a ranch there.

Stumbled onto an active controlled burn on the way home. Way cool to understand how and why they do this. Also, saw folks raking and bundling pine needles. They are used for landscaping. Plenty of pine trees and needles in this area. Quite the learning day. Lol.
