History Day

Visited an Indian mound today. Welcome center had loads of artifacts and information. So interesting. Learned some stuff. Another lovely day, 70 degrees! Checked out and researched the logging industry here. So many fields cleared of trees with evidence of burning. Apparently the controlled burn is to clear out underbrush so new trees can grow better. The fields are reseeded so there is continual turn. Good to know. Quiet evening.
