Wisconsin 8-9-2023

Yesterday we were in Port Wing and today we moved to Herbster. OMG!!! Almost as good as the beach. We are camping right on Lake Superior. Walked the beach (sand) today and collect cool rocks. Mickey wanted nothing to do with the water but liked laying in the cool sand. Silly dawg. We drove to Bainbridge to check out the Apostle Islands and maritime museum. Gorgeous views everywhere, cool little fishing town and interesting museum. Learned about ship wrecks, lampreys (the pic in the tube) and the fish hatcheries. Check out the plaque-steel came from Lukens!

Then we visited Little Sand Cove. So pretty. First pic is our view from inside the RV. So good for the soul. Sitting outside tonight enjoying the breeze and view.

Rained again all day Wednesday so we did maintenance stuff. Thursday the sun finally peeked thru. Drying everything out to pack. Visited with everyone and played games in the evening. Got a few more
