Virginia 4-20-2023

Started early am at Walmart for an oil change in the jeep. Breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Then grabbed Mickey and drove another 1/3 of the Skyline Drive. Some of the pics are from the highest point. Wanted to go to a waterfalls but couldn't take the dawg and couldn't find shade to park him in so bagged the falls. Sunny, 91, dry. Almost too hot to be outside. In Flint Hills (teeny town) stopped in the Horse and Hound looking for a gift. The manager there has lived in Chester County-where 926 and 82 cross. She knew people I knew. She had managed Ricks Saddlery for 18 years. How amazing! I am in Virginia right??? We had quite the conversation. Bought lunch at a local Mom & Pop deli. They advertised Philly cheese steaks so we tried one. Not bad but definitely not as good as home. Snacks for dinner. Quiet evening.
