Spent the day in Charleston. OMG! What a beautiful city! Clean and well kept, quaint and full of history. Took pics of the drive in-l9vely tree lined roads. We walked Battery Park which is actually the seawall. Beautifully shaded, pineapple fountain and regular fountain. Rainbow row. Shopping at the World Market-open air, 3 warehouses long. Lunch at Henrys'. Overpriced but good. I just couldn't get over the lovely windows boxes everywhere, arched windows and doorways, cobblestone street, wrought iron work on balconies. Impressive.
