Started out to visit a revoutionary war site but all we found was a placard. Aug.28, 1778 continental Major General Nathan Greene repelled the British and allowed his army to retreat leaving Aquidneck Island in British hands. From there we went to Sachuest Point national wildlife refuge. Just below Middletown and close to Newport. Home values $757,000! Beautiful views of Rhode Island Sound.
