Today we visited the local Log Cabin Days in Loudanville. The event was organized by a local group-Hochstetler Homes- to showcase their lig cabin building business. All the booths were manned by Amish and good ole Amish food was served for lunch. We watched a blacksmith, quilter, leather worker, wood carver, apple butter maker, candle maker, kettle corn maker, cider maker....... and everything was cooked in kettles over a fire. So interesting. I learned how they make apple butter- one of my favorite things. Very impressive operation. Lunch was delicious- bar b que chicken and sides.

Getting a little chilly at night. We turned the heater on for a little this morning.
