Took the day for some sightseeing. Visited Garrison and Cold Spring. Both towns on the Hudson. Cute little towns. Reminded me of WC or Harpers Ferry. Lots of little shops and built coming down a hill to the river. Good lunch at a local pub then back for naps and dawg time. Checked in at the lodge and got recommendations for tomorrow. Hot here but not as bad as Pa. was. Still looking for those scenic views of the Hudson.

Traveled today to Cartooge Creek campground in Franklin NC. Long day- i didnt plan that one so good. Thru the Black Mountains and into The Great Smokies. Beautiful scenery. I drove for a little. High
