N.C. 3-2-2023

Had a pretty windy night and thunderstorms this am. Traveling to the Native American Museum we saw 4 front end loaders and 2 graders working on clearing the road. Dense fog and 61 degrees. The museum was not open. My bad. Oh well. Went then to see Hatteras Lighthouse. Pretty spectacular. It is 198' tall took 1,250,000 bricks to build and still operates everyday dusk to dawn. So interesting. It was actually moved from it's original location when ground erosion threatened. Took another drive to see the original location and got to see some surfers and walk the beach. Way cool. On the way back to camp saw some parasailers packing up. Pretty full day.
