Started the day with another controlled burn. I spoke with one of the workers-Andrew. He's from Wyoming and his partners are from Oregon. They work for the Nature Conservancy which operates all over the world. . All are wildfire fighters but come to Carolina for the burn season which runs 1-15 to 4-15 every year. The burns are to prevent forest fires as well as invigorate the forest floor and standing trees. So cool to finally understand!

Spent a little more time watching cross country at Carolina Horse park. Back for dawg walks and afternoon naps. Ah the life. Lol
