Today we visited Tryon Palace in New Bern. Tryon was the British governor of N.C. 1770. Beautiful estate inside and out. Separate kitchen house and servant quarters as well as stables. We visited the House on the Horseshoe on Feb. 7th which was the site of a battle between Tryons' militia and American patriots. So interesting

Love learning. Back at camp to wash and wax both vehicles. Headed to the beach tomorrow.
