Really up into the Smokies today. Headed to Brevard to Mores Cove Falls. Twisty mountain roads with lots of switchbacks. Thank God for a handy Jeep and a safe driver! Lots of streams and rivulettes running down the mountain. Wonderful scenery. It amazes me how people have built homes way up the slopes. Can't imagine getting material up there. The falls were georgeous! Stopped at a little cafe for soup and cornbread. Drove thru a really wealthy area-Lake Toxaway and Sapphire Valley. Heading to White Water Falls were accidently crossed into South Carolina and stumbled on Lake Jocassee and Bad Creek Reservoir. Bad Creek was man made by Duke Power and it feeds into an underground hydro electric plant. Soooo interesting. We were actually on private property-yikes!
