Michigan 8-17-2023

Had a really bad storm last night. Rain just came down in buckets and the thunder was so loud! Mickey didn't like it much at all! Still really windy here, the lake is choppy and wild.

We drove today first to Munising falls and then to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on Lake Superior. Falls were very cool but Pictured Rocks was awesome! I was blown away by the beauty and power of Lake Superior. This is a must see if you come to the upper peninsula. The formations are composed of the Au Train (350 million yrs old). 200 ' thick. Contains many fossils. Check out the turquoise water. Breathtaking. And the waves! Felt like we were in Jersey.
