Linch at a cute little diner in a Biston suburb then visited the Bunker Hill Monunent abd Museum. Noy much if a museum but tge monument abd oark were cool. Battle took place on 6-17-1775 during the seige of Boston after Lexingtonabd Concord. The patriots found out that the British were planning to fortifyhills around Boston. Overnight 1200 patriots constructed earthen fortifications on Breeds hill and other surrounding locations. The British attacked next am and were driven back 2x. The thurd assault took the hill as the patriots ran out of ammunition. Although a Britis victory the patriots prived they were a worthy opponent. 294 steps andmy knees said uh...no!
