Iowa 6-25-2023

Got some much needed rain last nite. Drove across Illinois today to Davenport Iowa. Gotta say, Illinois is a pretty cool state. Very flat but lush with all the planted fields. Did some research, 96 percent of farmland is family owned. Some for 100 plus years.

Saw many clusters of wind turbines. Our navigator was not much good today- he's looking out the side window. Lol. Crossed the Mississippi, finally! Beautiful state Park campground for 2 nites. I got an atta girl for hook-up and un hook and yes, the thunder clouds are gathering. Really windy here, literally blowing the jeep all over the highway. Crazy cloud banks. Steve found the 4 leaf clover.
