Traveled to Madison today to see more antebellum homes. First is Boner Hall built in 1829.. second is Oak House built in 1832 and currently for sale-$2,180,000.00.

Third is Hill House-built in 1842. Joshua Hill is credited with saving Madison from Shermans wrath even though 20,000 union soldiers camped in town. Last is Heritage Hall, built in 1811. 14' ceilings, pocket doors, 7 rooms have etchings in window glass made by diamond rings of betrothed ladies. Original plantation was 2000 acres, 114 slaves.
