Today we visited Covington. Quaint little town full of history. The Dukes of Hazzard and In the Heat of The Night (TV series) were both filmed here as well as Sweet Magnolias, Taken 3, Vampire Diaries and many more. All the mansions pictured were built before the civil war and spared during Sherman's march. All are occupied so we could not tour. The white one with 4 round columns and the flag was the model for Twelve Oaks from Gone With The Wind. Lots of history here.
