Today we visited the Drag Racing Museum of "Big Daddy" Don Garlits. He was a famous dragster builder and driver and actually designed the first rear engine dragster in 1970-1971. This museum had at least 20 of his cars, so cool! The plague with flags is from Maple Grove in Pa. I remember going there to watch funny cars. Steve also remembers those times fondly. Also pictured is a funny car from Jungle Jim Liberman (an Abington Township native) and we saw cars from Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins. Steve was actually animated today! Lol.
