Wisconsin 8-10-2023

Today we visited the Iron River National Fish Hatchery. pretty cool place. Met a nice young man who started in this business at 15 in South Dakota. Loves his job! Says the winters can be pretty tough in this area. We checked out the visitor center and self guided tour through the areas where the fish are raised. Mostly lake trout. Unfortunately, the big warehouse where the older fish are was darkened so no pics.

On to Walmart, 25 miles away, for groceries. Then naps, long dawg walk, dinner at a local restaurant and watching the sun set over the lake.
