Drove into Oswego today to the Safe Haven Museum. During the Holocaust, FDR brought 982 refugees over from Italy and housed them at Fort Ontario. Most were Jewish, all wer one concentration camp survivors, most were families. They lived there for 18 months, went to school, rebuilt their lives and some stayed

in the USA. Never knew this story. How very cool. At least we were able to help some of the victims. Also checked out Fort Ontario and the lake. Bright sunny day!

Traveled today to Burleigh Manor in Ellicott City to visit Lisa and Larry. Love it here. So peaceful with the best host and hostess!
