Visited Homosassa Springs State Park today. Very cool! Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed walking. Crystal clear waters which are a constant 72 degrees. Mantees come to the springs for warmth. Seminole Indians lived and flourished here. 1st settlers moved here 1841. In 1851 the land was a sugar cane plantation. Most animals here have been injured and are rehabbing. The birds are not caged and can come and go.
